All About Me

I'm Jaco and I currently live in a little village just outside Dresden, Germany with my wife and two boys. From a very young age, I had an affinity for patterns, so it was kind of inevitable that I would end up as a data analyst. From 2012 - 2021, I ran my own property maintenance company in London, UK, but had to sell it when we decided to move to Germany. I believe my experience as an entrepreneur enables me to work alone or as part of a team and I understand the critical intersection between data and business strategy. I'm friendly, very respectful and never, ever, ever, ever late.

I have a passion for sports, having played most sports myself at some stage in the past and I also enjoy going for walks in the wooded areas surrounding our village with my wife and boys. In 2012, I wrote a children's novel consisting of 217 pages and in 2019, I wrote and created a graphic novel, both of which I then self-published on Amazon.

I recently completed my data analytics course at CareerFoundry, where I gained experience in cleaning and analyzing data sets of any size using Excel, Python, and SQL.
